Christian Ronn graduated from"The Royal Danish Academy of Music" with churchorgan and improvisation as his majors. He studied with Hans Fagius, and some of the greatest organperformers in Europe, including Marie Claire Alain, David Sanger, Jon Laukvik and worldfamous improviser Anders Bondeman with whom he studied one year in Stockholm, Sweden.
Christian considers himself a musical "kamelion", who is deeply woven into a lot of different acts in different genres.
The last big project was scoring Sergio Eisensteins silentmovie "Viva Mexico". The 1,2 hours score was presented live while the movie was shown as a part of "Film from the south festival" in Copenhagen. The instruments included Tablas, Violins, Guitars, Keyboards and Live Electronic. It was a huge succes, and "Film from the south festival" has hired Christian to score a japanese silentmovie selected by the japanese director who is going to be featured this year at the festival.
Apart from composing for Film and TV, Christian has a few CD-projects on the way. One soloproject (Ganga) with ambient electronica and a vocal/ electronica-duo (Dada) also with downbeat electronica with an ethnic flavour. (EMI - release 17/9-2001)
Right now Christian is working with a danish producerteam on a danceproject with live percussian (feat. Thomas Rubin).
Besides that he scores "Mayaga" (National TV) and remixes for Hypnotic Records.
